Three members of Team Magenta will be on-site at our booth this fall in Boston. We’ve loved attending ClioCon in years past — but this year hits differently as we welcome everyone to our home turf in New England! We are looking forward to connecting and reconnecting with clients and colleagues in person and cannot wait to meet new-to-us legal professionals, creative thinkers and fellow innovators at the biggest legal tech conference in the world.

The Magenta flag continues to fly internationally! Caitlin is continuing our #FollowTheMagentaLine series from the gorgeous town of Ocho Rios on the northern coast of Jamaica, with the black limestone formations in the West Bay district of Grand Cayman in the Cayman Islands and in one of the ports in Cozumel, an island in Quintana Roo, Mexico.

ON-SITE: CLIENT BRANDING PHOTOSHOOT DAY
Maine Orthotics
April 30, 2025 | Portland, ME
Three members of Team Magenta spent the day on-site with Kyle, owner of Maine Orthotics, capturing the incredible craftsmanship behind every custom orthotic made in-house. From touring the space to photographing the hands-on process to capturing videos for social media marketing, it was clear this brand is built on care and precision. The shoot was part of the lead-up to their soon-to-be-released new logo, website and marketing — all designed to reflect the expertise and heart behind their work.
Bonus twist? Our go-to photographer, Leah’s Lens had her very first custom orthotic made here back in middle school — and now she’s the one telling the story behind the lens!
Social Media on a Shoestring: Big Impact Strategies for Small Teams

The Social Media Strategies Summit workshop was one for the books! Caitlin had the pleasure of leading a 3-hour hands-on session on “Social Media on a Shoestring: Big Impact Strategies for Small Teams” — and the attendees did not hold back. Her half-day workshop brought together a group of communications professionals from agencies, departments and nonprofits across the country who were all eager to make more impact with fewer resources. From real-time collaboration to working through actual case studies, this session embodied the kind of thoughtful, hands-on learning we champion at Magenta.

We are beyond thrilled to be partnering with Tricia Camacho of Creative Costume Academy to bring the vision of PatternCon to life! This isn’t just branding and marketing — we’re going all in with Tricia and her team on creative strategy, design and full-scale event planning to help shape an unforgettable in-person convention for Tricia’s incredible pattern community. Caitlin and Tricia have been going live on both Instagram and YouTube, giving behind-the-scenes updates and sharing the “why” behind PatternCon — including why this space matters so much. (Spoiler: it’s about belonging, celebrating and building together.) From visuals to voice, signage to social, we’re helping build something real that celebrates artistry, connection and the next-level craft of an often forgotten and uncelebrated community.

Caitlin’s Admission to the Supreme Court of the United States

A proud moment for our co-founder, Caitlin, and for all of us at Magenta Fusion Brandworks! This week Caitlin was officially sworn into the Bar of the Supreme Court of the United States — with her son by her side and a front-row seat to a live (and lively!) SCOTUS argument session.
This was not just a personal milestone — it is a powerful reminder of what is possible when passion, purpose and perseverance align. As a brand rooted in bold moves and brave leadership, we are inspired daily by Caitlin’s drive to break barriers — and bring others with her.

It was a wonderful experience to witness the students’ growth firsthand — not only in their knowledge and confidence, but also in their ability to network, self-market and show up with professionalism and purpose. Caitlin presented on two panels at the CXO 2.0 Conference in Las Vegas: “Leading From Afar: Commanding Virtual Teams In The New Normal” and “Transitioning From Founder-Led To Founder-Inspired: Navigating Succession For Smooth Leadership Evolution.” Leading from Afar directly reflects Caitlin’s work at Magenta in collaborating with clients to build, train and transition marketing teams and strategies and Transitioning from Founder-Led to Founder-Inspired highlighted what our entire team does daily working with companies to create a strong brand presence that reflects their foundational and on-going value sets.

Caitlin had an incredible experience at Magenta client Elyssa Smith’s first international retreat in Tulum, Mexico. From the luxurious atmosphere and private chef, Edwin, to the countless personalized touches, this retreat offered a safe, nurturing space for high-achieving women to grow, learn and connect. Caitlin is grateful to have been a part of this transformative experience as we continue to support Elyssa and her team in elevating her brand and social media strategy.

Double Mastectomy Survivor Speaks on “Fear”

It was a wonderful wrap-up to the month of October for Caitlin to go on a live segment on FOX59 Indianapolis with morning anchor Daniel Miller and Magenta Fusion Brandworks’ client/trauma-informed life strategist Elyssa Smith to discuss the importance of being proactive in your health, having conversations with your medical providers and what to do if this overwhelms you. Our conversation was centered around breast cancer awareness month and mammogram screenings in hopes of encouraging women to be proactive at the recommended age or earlier if they have particular concerns they wish to look into.

The Maine Women’s Conference 2024: “Let’s Influence Tomorrow”
October 28, 2024 | Portland, ME
The team had an incredible experience at the 2024 Maine Women’s Conference which was themed “Let’s Influence Tomorrow.” Our co-founder Caitlin presented to an engaged audience on “Navigating the Shift from Personal to Business Social Media,” while also sharing insights to encourage women to take a proactive approach to their health. Kudos to the Executive Board for organizing such a seamless event, with special appreciation for Astride Jeannot’s work with the speakers and Vanessa Berrill’s assistance during Caitlin’s session. The entire speaker lineup brought creativity, energy and engagement and the USM Abromson Community Education Center provided a fantastic setting. It was an inspiring opportunity to connect with this dynamic community and we look forward to returning next year.

2024 Maine State Bar Association Summer Conference
Navigating the Legal and Ethical Landscape: Social Media Confidentiality, Investigation Essentials & Means of Service
June 26-28, 2024 | Bar Harbor, Maine
It was a pleasure for Caitlin to present with Cyrus Cheslak of Verrill Dana at the 2024 Maine State Bar Association Summer Conference on navigating the legal and ethical landscape of social media for client confidentiality, investigations and as a means of alternate service.
We had a fantastic and engaged room of attendees for our ethics session, of which, interestingly, only two had ever attempted utilizing social media or text messaging for alternate service. As an early adopter of this (utilizing Facebook and MySpace as far back as 2010!), Caitlin particularly wanted to encourage the attorneys in the room to not fear this practical, cost-effective and extremely effective option that is now regularly accepted upon filing of a sufficient motion.

Caitlin and David had the incredible opportunity to attend their client Elyssa Smith’s TEDx talk, Why You Procrastinate — And How To Stop It For Good. Elyssa described the experience as a powerful journey of self-discovery—one that required confronting fears, embracing vulnerability and stepping fully into her expertise. This milestone came on the heels of her partnership with Magenta Fusion, where she embarked on a full brand transformation, including a reimagined visual identity, a completely revamped website, and a strategic overhaul of her social media presence. Watching Elyssa shine on the TEDx stage, armed with a brand that now fully reflects her success, was a testament to the impact of aligning identity with purpose.

Caitlin had the incredible opportunity to attend Brock Johnson’s first-ever in-person Instagram Mastermind, affectionately known to the attendees as Content Camp. In the heart of beautiful Southern California, Caitlin joined nine other top social media strategists for an immersive experience focused on innovation, collaboration and next-level content strategy. From deep dives into cutting-edge Instagram trends to hands-on content creation sessions, Content Camp was a space to refine skills, exchange ideas and build lasting connections. The energy, expertise and shared passion for digital storytelling made this mastermind an unforgettable experience—one that will undoubtedly shape future strategies at Magenta Fusion.
